The hand cracking of green olives is an art form. The olive must be cracked just enough to break the skin and pulp while leaving the juices and pit intact. Brothers-in-law Michael & Vincent mastered the art form of marinated hand-crafted cracked Sicilian olives. Their imported Sicilian olives are enhanced with a symphonic blend of Italian herbs using an ancient Sicilian family recipe.
Sicily has been producing the world’s best olives and olive oils for centuries. The Sicilian sun, cool sea breeze, and fertile, sometimes volcanic, soil are all ideal conditions for olive cultivation.
During olive harvest, Sicilians enjoy the fresh picked flavor of large, succulent, green olives. Perhaps they dropped a few into their salads long ago and discovered that garlic and Italian herbs greatly enhanced the flavor of the olives. The skin of the olive, however, prevented the flavor of the herbs from reaching the pulp. By cracking the olives first, the marinade saturated the pulp and a savory olive dish was created.

I shopped at a locally-owned market yesterday (Maceo’s — well stocked and empty of shoppers) and discovered these AMAZING olives. Better yet? Made in Houston. Honestly the best olives I’ve ever had. Now this is an item I can selfishly horde.

Our Traditional and Spicy Italian Sausage is made from a family recipe passed down from generations. We pride ourselves of using 100% trimmed pork butts with special spices including fennel. It is 92% lean, gluten free and has no preservatives or nitrates. It literally melts in your mouth!!
If you love the outdoors, the grill is a great way to cook our Italian Sausage. You also could bake it in the oven or on the stovetop in a skillet, just put a small amount of water in the pan instead of oil. Above all, make sure you do not pierce the skin, all those wonderful juices will be lost which keeps the sausage moist and juicy.
All our sausage products are fresh frozen and shipped by FedEx 2Day AM to insure freshness and quality.
